What is this growing out of the ground??

My overzealous 8yr old opened up all the various seed packets and scattered them throughout the ground. I have no idea what and where things are planted. 
I'll keep posting to this question every few days until we have a definitive answer! :)

It's a pain trying to get a good photo with my iPhone at this angle so I'll take some better photos this afternoon and post them. Thx Internet peeps!

Here's an updated photo I took today (April 7).  4 days have passed since the original FB post pic and I still have no idea what this is.

  • Day 4 (from last FB post)
  • Day 9 (from last FB post)
  • It's been a couple of weeks and I still have no idea what it is! Neither does my son but he's excited about the growth after some rain!
