My Snake River Kurobuta ham for Easter arrived FROZEN! After a day in the fridge it's still pretty solid. What should I do?!?!
I LOVE Snake River Farm's Kurobuta ham. It's my absolute favorite go-to for Easter ham. It usually arrives defrosted but the ham arrived solid as ice the other day and after a day in the fridge it's still pretty solid with a little give on top where it softened up. Should I leave it in the fridge or take it out and let it thaw?
I just took out the hame after it's been in the fridge for 12 hours and it's still SOLID.

I'm wondering if I should just let it defrost at room temperature for a bit. I usually let the ham adjust to room temperature a few hours prior to cooking but I've never had to deal with a FROZEN whole ham before - they usually arrived defrosted in dry ice.
