Clare Doyle asked:

Are jade plants succulents?

If so, how often should they be watered?

Yes, Jade plants are succulents. They require little water in the summer, and even less in the winter. The jade plant is a little susceptible to overwatering so be careful because it is also known as  a friendship tree, lucky plant, or money tree and based on that you don't want anything bad to happen to it!
