Tropical Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice
  • 1 1/2 cups low fat vanilla yogurt
  • 3 cups South African baby pineapples
  • 2 each bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
  • 3 ounces frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup pineapple sherbet

Directions

  1. Heat the sugar and water to a boil, without stirring.
  2. Once it boils, remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a blender, combine all of the smoothie ingredients, including the sugar-water syrup to taste, until smooth.
  4. Serve in ice cold glasses.
