Red Banana Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Dash of nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 ripe red bananas
  • Organic low glycemic agave syrup

Directions

  1. Using a wire whisk, mix all ingredients except syrup in a medium bowl until blended.
  2. With a large ladle, pour about 1 ladleful of batter on greased hot skillet.
  3. Cook over medium heat until edges of pancakes begin to bubble. Carefully flip each pancake over. Cook until golden brown. Continue until all batter is used up. Serve pancakes with butter and Melissa's Organic Agave Syrup.
