Lo Bok Radish and Beef

Servings: 4-6
Skill Level: Beginner

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 pounds beef, cut into cubes
  • Water
  • 1 large lo bok, peeled and cubed
  • 1 star anise
  • Soy sauce to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot.
  2. Add beef and brown well on all sides.
  3. Add lo bok, star anise and about 1 inch of water. Cover and simmer gently until meat is tender.
  4. Adjust seasoning using salt or soy sauce to taste. Serve.
