Asian-Inspired Balsamic Honey Vinegar Salad

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Honey Ridge Farms Balsamic Honey Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, such as Jovia Grove
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger
  • 8 cups mixed greens
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1 cup red cabbage, shredded
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

  1. Whisk together first five ingredients in a small bowl to make the dressing.
  2. In a large salad bowl, toss together the greens, carrot, and cabbage, and add the dressing; mix to coat all pieces well.
  3. Sprinkle with the almonds and sesame seeds and toss a couple of times. Serve immediately.
