The Color Keeper: Home Paint Color Record
Find Out More
The Color Keeper™ is a new and innovative way for homeowners and decorators to record paint colors for every room in the home, including the exterior.
The Color Keeper consists of twelve cards that hold paint samples and information regarding paint colors for each room and wall in your home. It simplifies your paint purchases for touchups and future repainting by recording the pertinent paint information and keeping everything in one place.
It easily slips into your pocket or purse when shopping for furniture, fabrics and home accessories and makes it much easier to work with painters and decorators - just give them the Color Keeper to record all the paints they utilize. Cards can be easily and quickly removed and replaced.
Cards are also easily scanned by color scanners for computer matching. Never lose that special paint color.
Using the Color Keeper
- Open the ring and remove your cards. Apply paint colors to the blank sides of the cards. Allow to dry.
- Flip cards over and record all information about the paint in spaces provided.
- Return cards to the ring for a permanent record of your home's interior and exterior paint colors.
Additional Tips and Suggestions
- Rather than doing it yourself, have your painter or decorator place the paint samples and information on your cards and return them to you at the end of the project.
- If you're having paint colors mixed at the paint store, request they print a label you can adhere to your Color Keeper card along with a paint sample.
- In addition to paint, consider using Color Keeper to hold samples of hard to find fabrics and wallpapers.
