Green garlic is young garlic harvested before the bulb matures underground, yielding tender green leaves with a milder, sweeter flavor than mature garlic. It is traditionally a seasonal item available only in the spring as farmers thin out their conventional garlic crop.
Christopher Ranch has now committed a limited supply of its heirloom seed stock specifically for the cultivation of green garlic, extending availability from April - October. Available in retail 3 oz packs.
