Nature-inspired bath furniture collection ushers in exotic new look

Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (Chicago, IL, April 16-18, 2010) - Xylem brings an exotic new air to the bath with the introduction of the BAMBU™ bath furniture collection. The new BAMBU bath vanity and mirror set is a complete redesign of an earlier model and a fresh new interpretation of nature-inspired design. The collection uses eco-renewable bamboo veneer and raw bamboo stalk accents to stimulate our sense of adventure in bath décor. Contemporary styling ties together Bambu’s organic theme to create a versatile and functional bath that engages the imagination.

The clean, handle-free, console appearance of the BAMBU bath vanity offers no hint of its two spacious, open-sided pullout drawers. When opened, the nearly undetectable drawers divide the rectangular display of 12 decorative bamboo stalks framed by dark, walnut-stained bamboo veneer. The natural inconsistency in the tan bamboo stalks contrast beautifully against the dark, richly appointed wood finish to create a bold and worldly décor statement.

The BAMBU vanity is offered in a choice of wall-mount or base-stand applications. Both accommodate any Xylem vessel or under-mount sink. BAMBU’s matching mirror displays a column of four decorative bamboo accents at top and bottom, framed by dark, walnut-stained bamboo veneer.

The BAMBU collection from Xylem is now available at select dealers and showrooms nationwide. List price for the 36" BAMBU vanity is $1,790. The 26" BAMBU matching mirror lists for $380. The vanity base to accommodate an under-mount sink application lists for $265. List price for the vanity base that accommodates a vessel sink application is $195.
