The AP-1008DH has a 4-step filtration process, and the AP-1008CH has a 3-step filtration process. Both remove 99.9% of particles in the air. The AP-1008DH consists of a pre-filter that traps large dust particles, mold, human and pet hair; the MCC™ (Multi Care Complex) Medium Filter, which is three filters in one, removes 99.9% of general germs; the deodorization filter eliminates gases, food odors and unpleasant household smells; and the HEPA filter traps fine dust and cigarette smoke. The AP-1008CH consists of a pre-filter, the A3 Medium Filter (Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Odor and Anti-Dust), and the HEPA filter.

With the AP-1009CH, Coway has provided another solution to those who want fresh air and to those who need clean air because of respiratory problems. Its unique filtration process consists of three filters: a pre-filter with a unique, ultra-fine yarn structure that catches large particles, like hair, fur and dust; the medium deodorization filter traps smaller dust particles and also filters harmful gases, cigarette smoke and other bad odors; and Coway's specially designed HEPA filter removes cigarette smoke, viruses, germs and microdust.

Maintenance of all three of these air purifiers is easy with their easy-to-clean filter system.
