The Sweetest Citrus Tree Ever

If you are looking for a small, decorative tree for your patio or garden and you are a citrus Lover - have I the perfect tree for you! A Dancy tangerine tree! This dwarf citrus tree is green year round and does well in large containers making it a great choice for patios or decks.

Two years ago I planted two Dancy citrus trees in pots to flank my patio door and I have been rewarded ever since with fragrant flowers in summer and autumn and beautiful green leaves all year round. But my favorite thing about this tree is the fruit! The easy to peel tangerines are practically seedless and they are the sweetest, juiciest little tangerines I’ve ever tasted. They are small, but boy are they good!

I purchased my trees in 3.5 gallon containers at my local nursery and transplanted them into 10 gallon planters to give the roots some room to grow. I fertilize them with citrus fertilizer once a month – okay sometimes I’m not on top of this but it doesn’t seem to matter because I have more than enough fruit. Dancy's require regular watering to produce their sweet and succulent fruit so it’s important to water them regularly.
