How about this for the ultimate gift for a photographer/foodie in your life?
A red, velvety sponge cake in the shape of one of most mouth watering gadgets, the Nikon D700? Flickr user fsumaria's husband commissioned a Pennsylvania bakery, Granny Schmidt's, to bake the perfect accompaniment to his wife's non-edible present, the actual camera.
To quote fsumaria - "This is by far the coolest birthday cake I've ever had."
Looking at the pictures, I'd be happy with either of them too (the cake or the camera, that is)! A feast for the eyes and the tastebuds!
